The Yellow Jackettes survived a torrential downpour en route to winning six games and the Bub Riggleman Tournament Championship at the Moorefield Town Park.

“It was great to do this with our group of seniors and group of players. We had many adversities to overcome and this weekend we proved that we are standing together as one team. We hit well and played defense well. The pitchers were all on all weekend,” Moorefield Coach Tammie Ayers commented.

“The two teams to be undefeated and play in the championship game was awesome too. All the teams played hard. It was a nice tournament with good sportsmanship all the way around. The rain didn’t help any, but my field crew did a great job.”
