While most of us are looking forward to a blessed Christmas, there are those in our community who need help.
“This year, I had 220 families ask for assistance,” said Corrie Andrews, Community Development Director with the Eastern West Virginia Community Action Agency. “That’s way more than applied last year.”
Every year, Andrews organizes the Christmas Fund, for families who just can’t afford Christmas. Those families can be “adopted” by individuals, businesses or groups.
