Tucker County’s roar in Hambleton was too much for the Cougars to withstand during a 64-44 loss last Friday night.
“We lost some of our defensive intensity,” East Hardy Coach Chris Hahn noted. “We did a good job of not allowing dribblepenetration, but we did a bad job finding
that extra guy. They had at least 15 open looks where not a soul was around.”
Memories of last year’s playoff ousting to the Mountain Lions loomed as East Hardy struggled to find its footing once again.
