Moorefield Examiner –
Part of the American Woodmark facility on South Fork Road in Moorefield is being razed and sold for scrap.
This according to Jim Nipps, director of Safety and Compliance with owners Hubscrap, Inc. of Hagerstown, Md.
Crews started demolishing the north section of the 117,000 square foot complex last week.
“We’ll separate the wood, metal and other materials,” said Foreman Gary Landis. “The steel will be recycled. The wood will go to the landfill and the other material will be clean fill.”
Landis said his four-man crew will be working at the facility
