The Yellow Jackets stung Petersburg with six points in four seconds to steal the momentum and the game at the Hive in a 50-36 victory.  “We didn’t set the world on fire in the first half, but our kids played hard. That was nice momentum going into the half. Petersburg had a wide-screen roll and we prepped for it. Our guys did an excellent job executing it,” Moorefield Coach Pat McGregor stated.

The fans got an exciting close to the first half courtesy of the Yellow Jackets’ quick hands under the basket.

Moorefield and Petersburg were knotted
