Baker Branch of Library is Looking for a New Home

The Baker Branch of the Hardy County Public Library has been serving residents on the east side of the county since 1977. Located on the campus of the East Hardy High School, the branch serves more than 5,000 patrons from Baker, Mathias, Wardensville and all points in between.

But the renovations at East Hardy High School will force the library to relocate. “We see this as opportunity to move to a more visible location,” said Michael Crites, president of the Hardy County Public Library Commission.
