Architects Kick Off School Building’s Design Planning

“If our school/classroom had (fill in the blank), we would be able to (fill in the blank).”

More space, better technology, an auditorium, storage space, updated stage equipment, larger kitchen, air conditioning, better facilities, an art room – these were just a few of the answers to the statement posed by Architect Greg Williamson.

Williamson, president of Williamson-Shriver Architects, led the Kick-Off Meeting for the Hardy County Schools Rebuild/Renovation Project on Wednesday, June 13.

On May 8, the voters of Hardy County passed a $21.5 million bond which will be matched with funding from the West Virginia School Building Authority.
