South Branch Plant to Add 100,000 Square Feet, 80 New Jobs
Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin joined American Woodmark Corporation in announcing a major expansion of the company’s Moorefield cabinet-manufacturing facility. American Woodmark will add 80 new jobs and 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space at the Moorefield operation. The $30 million project will increase the Moorefield center’s workforce to more than 650 employees.
“This expansion highlights the competitive edge that’s attracting more and more businesses to West Virginia,” said Gov. Tomblin. “American Woodmark is a great example of a national company that’s succeeding in our state’s vastly improved business climate.
